2010 NZ Jet Sport Nationals Results

For those of you that attended the 2010 Woodbine Marine Seadoo BRP New Zealand Jet Sport Nationals, I trust you all enjoyed the event. The comments being passed around it seem to indicate that everyone had a great time. From the AJSA’s perspective the event ran very smoothly thankfully there were no major hiccups.

I would like to take the opportunity to thank those that helped make the event a huge success. Firstly, Steve Beasley, who made a massive contribution and started coordinating required gear in the weeks prior to the event. The lap scorers, Erica Holt, Meg Webb, Jenny MacKay, Zara Hawkins, Mel Carstairs, Jude Carstairs, Natalie Lyons and Rowan Burt. Peg Girls Diane Daly, Amber and Lucy. The Marshalls, led by Murray Holdaway, James, Bill, George, Pete, Lant, Bob, Lyndon, and Mike. Steve Ellis, for the race directing, along with Lisa Dermott and Russell Westbrooke assisting. Garth Simonsen for taking on the Tech inspecting of skis. Helen Evans and Donna Hyslop for looking after the VIP tent. John Wright’s crew of lads for helping out and assisting Steve Beasley. Norm McFarlane on the microphone. Finally the AJSA committee for all the effort put in over the last year and at the event. Hopefully I haven’t missed anyone.

A huge thank you to the all sponsors of the event, without their support it all wouldn’t have been possible. Woodbine Marine and Seadoo BRP for title sponsorship. PIC Insurance and New World Westend Rotorua for their associate support. The Pelorus Trust and Cue Sports Foundation. Class sponsorship from Ideal Electrical Suppliers, HSR New Zealand Ltd, Porter Hire, Jet Pilot, Elf Lubricants, BJ Cartage, Eagles Nest, CoolIt Ice, Capital City Seadoo, Thomson Carriers, Boyztoyz, and The Junction Sports Bar.
